About Suzy

I have been running a successful consultancy for 15 years working with charities and community groups. It has been helping people, young and old – men and women – to improve their quality of life in a number of ways including:

  • Raising funds for and developing schemes to help people get into work
  • Developing community childcare provision for working parents
  • Delivering confidence building and assertiveness workshops, team building and providing mentoring and coaching support.

Stylicious was born after developing a second strand to the business to promote the impact of improved style and image on one’s confidence and self-esteem.

I am a founder member of the Alicia Kite Academy. From Haute Couture to the High Street, what Alicia Kite does not know about the style, image and related retail industry is not really worth knowing. I chose the Academy training because it is the most comprehensive and detailed one available.

An understanding of retail, what is in the shops and seeing the shops as valuable partners is crucial to giving my clients the best advice and help. Access to an international network of stylists and advance information on changing trends and what will be out there on the high street for the next season adds even greater value.

Finally, being a working parent in my mid 40's and certainly not of supermodel proportions! I can identify with many of the image and clothing dilemmas of my clients. Prior to becoming a stylist, I was a person with a chaotic wardrobe and strange attitude to shopping! This, more than anything helps me to understand and meet the needs of the people I work with.
