Stylicious was born after developing a second strand to the business to promote the impact of improved Style and Image on one’s confidence and self-esteem.

  

As a Founder and Senior Member of the Alicia Kite Academy, I am a fully qualified Stylist and Image Consultant. From Haute Couture to High Street; Foundation Garments to Coating, Personal Styling to Corporate Image. The Academy was and still is the most comprehensive package of training available.

  

The service includes a sound understanding of Fashion Retail. An awareness of  what is in the stores and recognising that the value of retailers as partners is crucial to my being able to give my clients the best service. This knowledge along with experience as a Customer Services Trainer enables me to work directly with stores to successfully combine Customer Focus and Increased Sales. With Alicia Kite I have worked on  the planning of shop floor Style Advisory Workshops for John Lewis. Stylicious has organised and hosted fashion shows with special occasion brand Coast and worked with Reiss Store Manager on a project to raise quality and sales by improving "The Reiss Customer Journey"

 

The extensive experience of working across all sectors adds value to work under Corporate Services

 

Access to an international network of stylists, advance information on changing trends and what will be available on the high street next season ensures the experience for my clients is current, relevant and forward thinking.

  

Regenerating Communities

    

Through my work with disadvantaged communities I have developed, implemented, managed and evaluated initiatives in the areas of:Training & Employment; Childcare & Youth; Sports, Leisure and Catering; Music, Media and the Performing Arts

 

My work has aligned me with people and organisations comprising a diverse range of cultures, circumstances and backgrounds.

   

I bring experience of working in both a voluntary and paid capacity in most community-based operational roles from Reception to Contract Management and have advised strategically at Director and Senior Management level. This gives much added value by way of a unique and considered viewpoint. I relate to and understand how ideas and decisions taken at Board level will work, (or not), at the grass roots delivery point.

 

Now specialising in work that is result and outcome focused in the fields of Training & Employment, this enables me to creatively and appropriately combine the skills and knowledge from both sides of the business to help communities and individuals.

  

All work that is directly with clients of organisations meets the required Quality Standards. The relevant qualifications include City & Guilds in Adult teaching and NVQ Level 3 in Information, Advice and Guidance. I am an affiliated member of the Institute for learning.

  

Coaching & Mentoring

 

These elements are available within any of the tailor-made packages I deliver where relevant and required, whether it is for individuals or teams - in the field of styling and image development or regenerating communities. Stylicious works with volunteers, paid staff and managers at all levels across Voluntary, Public, Private and Third Sectors.

 

The complete and unqiue package of skills and experience lends well to my work as a Social Entrepreneur which includes the development and implementation of special community projects to benefit individuals and businesses.
